About

Dr. Heather Vaske was born and raised in Tempe, Arizona and received her undergraduate degree in biology from Arizona State University in 2006.  After earning her doctorate in veterinary medicine (DVM) from Iowa State University in 2011, she completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk, CT.

She then returned to the Midwest to complete her residency in small animal internal medicine, as well as her masters in veterinary biomedical sciences at Kansas State University, completing both programs in 2015.

After 8 years of clinical practice at a large specialty and emergency hospital, she found her passion for providing more accessible specialty internal medicine services. She is excited to work directly with primary care veterinarians in the comfort of their practice to provide internal medicine consultations and diagnostics to their patients.
